Have I been asleep? I didn't realize that we had a poll right now. Sorry,

I would have participated. But just in case, I am female (at least the last

time I looked) and I was 24 when clinically diagnosed, however I didn't have

my first biopsy until 2000.

I'm with you Connie. I must have been on another planet or something.

Funny enough, I was just thinking about a pole on the sex of group

members. They used to say that males get IgAN 2 to 3 times more often

than women.

Marty, I think that you're right supposedly males have a high incidence of

IgAN than females. It would be interesting to know the dynamics of our

group. Also, it would be nice to add to the poll what country each of us

resides in for the Geographic's. Connie, USA

Typically, from past experience, only about 40 people answer a poll. Not

sure a poll is worth anything under those circumstances.

Pierre,

If there was some way to notify everyone a new poll was started I think you

would get a better response. I read my email everyday but seldom to go to

the website.

Most of the polls aren't started by me, though. I've left this open to any

subscriber. When a member authors a poll, the system asks if it should send

out an email about it. Past ones I have authored were well publicized, but

they still didn't draw many votes.

May I suggest whoever initiated this poll may want to run it again

with some sort of notice/post.

I do not check if polls are running but I do respond if I see a post.

the poll, zero people answered the poll. Perahps no one knew about

the poll.

That appears to be the case Derrick. I didn't even know about that poll

myself. Since it's a zero poll though, there's no use keeping the results,

so I deleted it. Once it's closed, it can't be revived anyway. A new one has

to be written.
