Guest guest
HI I was jealous after reading the last several e mail posts. My Mark has NEVER been the least bit interested in TV or computers which makes keeping him busy extremely difficult. We really try hard to keep him busy but it is so hard. I have to add that I am also getting very tired now that he is 19 and it is still a problem
Guest guest
, The only thing Mark likes is noisy keyboards and toys. At times it will also make him more wound up too! We have tried about everything we can think of but I am always open to suggestions.

Guest guest
, I honestly, truly cannot imagine what my life would be like without TV and computer (oh boy do I sound like a bad parent here. ha ha.) It is a very " calming " thing for Kennedy. After coming home from preschool after running around with the kids all day, she goes in front of the TV downstairs and if I try to come sit down with her, she says " no, you upstairs mommy, Kennedy big tv " She uses that as her de-stresser. The computer is just a fun past time for her. I believe the TV really calms her and she enjoys it immensely, singing along, etc. I suppose at 19 you've tried just about everything but if I think of any ideas, I'll let you know... Guest guest
I've thought for some time that leisure time activities need to be a main part of a CHARGE kids IEP. They're just critical. Martha
