Guest guest
- I use the Frontier vanilla. There is a calcium supplement called WaterOz that you can get online that is just like water. A lot of people just use baking soda for toothpaste but I know Elaine has said a little toothpaste is fine as long as the kids aren't swallowing it. Zachary 4.4 ASD? Guest guest
Hello! We put our 3 yr old ASD son on the SCD a week ago, and we are already seeing a die-off reaction. He had been GFCF for 20 months. When shopping GFCF, we strictly used certain brands of food to avoid cross contamination, hidden ingredients, etc... I checked the archives to find out what brand of vanilla to use and found nothing. We used Authentic Foods brand before, but it is illegal on the SCD. Any suggestions? We also need help with toothpaste ideas. And is there a calcium that can be added to his almond milk that isn't too grainy? I really appreciate the help!!!!!! Thanks! , mom to Dylan ASD, SCD one week!
Guest guest
, I use Frontier brand vanilla. Toothpaste is always a tricky question. If your child doesn't swallow it, then any brand you like is fine. If swallowing it is a problem, then baking soda or plain water is fine to use. From my understanding, it's mostly the action of brushing the teeth that is important. Welcome to the list.
