My wife Rita (PSC feb-02) started on ursodiol when she was diagnosed, three months later she swicth to ursochol because of a huge difference in price (ursochol is 1/6th the price of ursodiol) but after a little while her labs started rising for the first time since starting urso. My US doctor (hepatologist) says is OK. So far has worked well...
