Dearest Friend:

I live in Edmonton, Alberta, and I would love to help you if I can. The plastic surgeons are all very busy here; however, there might be some new plastic surgeons who might be willing to help you. What kind of breast implants do you have, and are they ruptured?

Please contact me if you wish, and we will try to find a good plastic surgeon for you. Would you be willing to travel to the United States? They have some excellent plastic surgeons there. The ladies in this group would be able to help you, if you are willing to travel.

Sending love and respect.........Lea

Sweetheart ~

The last thing you need to do is beat yourself up for this ! ! You were told these were safe ! ! ! You did it with GOOD intention, just as we all did. Please just know it is not your fault they didnt turn out like you were told they would. Forgive yourself ! ! ! ! You may be having some scar tissue on the one side that is getting hard. It happens alot. Silicone can be ruptured and you never know unless the capsule that forms around them leaks or breaks. They can also accidently put a hole in them when they are put in. Keep an eye on the sizes and the amount of pain, and if there are any burning. You have come to the right place for support. The people on in this group are wonderful, and so supportive. Right now, til you can get things in order, please forgive yourself for this, and no more beating yourself up. It is an education you learned. Just know we are here for you to listen and share stories and support each other.

Oh sorry i have silicone and no they are not ruptured. I had them done 11 months ago. and 5 months ago i had to go back to fix the left side becuse of bottoming out, and some size different. The left side is fixed, from bottoming out but the size is way smaller than the right and also the left side is higher. The left side is also not soft like the right side. The surgen who did this to me wants to go back in a 3 time to change the size. I am thinking that i dont trust him and he is not that kind to me eaither. I just think that 3 surgeries in 1 year is not a good thing and i would rather just remove them so no further problem happen to me. I am an emotianol reck and it seem that the plastic surgens dont want to deal with any problems for a diffrent surgens. I am a mother of 3 and I am beating myself up everyday for doing this to myself. THank-you for wrighting me! Crystal ~

Please try to not be so hard on yourself. You did not plan to have any problems. Your intention was to feel good, and good about yourself, not to end up with problems and more surgery. Please forgive yourself so you have all of your strength to help you through everything. If you had been told you were going to have all these problems you would not have gotten them. So, you did not do this or cause this on purpose.

God Bless YOU, hugs ~ DAOL now offers free email to everyone. Find out more about what's free from AOL at AOL.com.

Oh Crystal,

You are definitely in the right place. I've been

implanted with bilumen (silicone/saline) implants for

almost twenty years.

Lea will be a good resource for you as she's in

Alberta and so is Sunny.

When I see my surgeon next time I'm going to speak

with him about how to find a good explantation surgeon

in Canada. This is my goal.

One thing I know helps is when you go a surgeon is to

tell them you are in pain and it's unbearable. That

worked for me but unfortunately mine really do hurt.

Please don't beat yourself up about this. This is

nothing to feel bad about.

I am wanting to get mine out so badly. I have a

ruptured on the right.

You have made an intelligent decision by coming to

this site and to get these implants out.

Keep in touch,

Sending prayers, hugs & hope,

Traci

Crystal, It's strange how plastic surgeons lose interest when a woman says she wants her implants REMOVED . .. no just replaced. Since your implants are silicone gel - do you know if they are the "new improved" cohesive gel implants? If so, are you part of a study? . . . I'm not sure they were approved by the Canada's equivalent of the FDA eleven months ago. Rogene

Your doctor should have given you some information . . informed consent, or something like that. . . You should be able to get a copy of your medical records from your doctor. Your doctor may have put them in you illegally. You didn't sign anything agreeing to be part of a study, did you? The gel implants were only recently approved by the FDA . . . in December. I don't think they were approved in Canada much before that. There was a big stink about their approval because they stacked their panel with people whose vested interests were with the plastic surgery industry. Crystal,

Awwww. You are so sweet. You are one of our sisters

so of course we care.

As you read more you'll find all of us have different

life challenges but it is these toxic bags of crap

that bonds us together. This group is the one of the

positive things that has come of all this. You'll

find a bunch of beautiful, intelligent and supportive

women here.

I have a husband who has the DVD box set of Boob Mania

(figuratively speaking) and just was obsessed with

breasts. The bigger the better. He was the one that

pushed me to get these 20 years ago. It's interesting

since I've had so many problems, he's actually come

around and is very supportive. He feels really bad

about the implants, I've forgiven him, we've moved on,

life is good. So good things do come of this.

Myself, I can't wait to get these horrible things out

of me. I choose to think of this explant surgery as

me reclaiming my womanhood.

Here's a little fellow to make you smile. I've

attached a pic of my Prowler. He is the best cat

ever.

Let us know how you are doing.

Sending hugs, prayers & hope,

Traci

Hi Crystal,

Try not to beat yourself. You, like the rest of us, were lied to!

Told they were safe. I never once was told they would wear out or

that I could end up sick. Hindsight 20/20. Try to learn from this.

You are so lucky that you found this group and are getting them out

before you get sick. I am terribly sick right now with all sorts of

issues. I am 34 but feel like I am 84 most days. I am not sure how

it works in Canada but try to research doctors best you can. I am

fortunate that I can go to Dr. Huang here in Denver, Colorado but my

insurance will not cover any of my surgery. My health is so much

more important than money and debt right now.

You take care and keep posting,

Lynn

Sweetheart ~

> The last thing you need to do is beat yourself up for this ! !

You were told these were safe ! ! ! You did it with GOOD intention,

just as we all did. Please just know it is not your fault they didnt

turn out like you were told they would. Forgive yourself ! ! ! !

You may be having some scar tissue on the one side that is getting

hard. It happens alot. Silicone can be ruptured and you never know

unless the capsule that forms around them leaks or breaks. They can

also accidently put a hole in them when they are put in. Keep an eye

on the sizes and the amount of pain, and if there are any burning.

You have come to the right place for support. The people on in this

group are wonderful, and so supportive. Right now, til you can get

things in order, please forgive yourself for this, and no more

beating yourself up. It is an education you learned. Just know we

are here for you to listen and share stories and support each other.

Yes you are right about that you can not buy health. How do you cope? Like sometimes i think i might really lose my mind and have a nervous breakdown.spinkscl <spinkscl@...> wrote: Hi Crystal,Try not to beat yourself. You, like the rest of us, were lied to! Told they were safe. I never once was told they would wear out or that I could end up sick. Hindsight 20/20. Try to learn from this. You are so lucky that you found this group and are getting them out before you get sick. I am terribly sick

right now with all sorts of issues. I am 34 but feel like I am 84 most days. I am not sure how it works in Canada but try to research doctors best you can. I am fortunate that I can go to Dr. Huang here in Denver, Colorado but my insurance will not cover any of my surgery. My health is so much more important than money and debt right now. You take care and keep posting,Lynn Sweetheart ~ > The last thing you need to do is beat yourself up for this ! Honestly Crystal, I'm terrified of the outcome. I'm

afraid if I don't get the lift my breasts will look

like sweat socks. But you know what? I'm also

excited about getting these things out. After looking

at the pics on shutterfly I've decided I'll be fine no

matter what.

I probably won't end up getting a lift, I just want

these things out. I go back on April 3rd to discuss

the surgery options and then the explant date is

booked.

I finally was straight with my Husband and told him

exactly how I feel and he was shocked. He really does

love me and wants me to get better. I made sure I

didn't blame him, or make him feel defensive. I

simply told him how I felt.

I'm sure your Husband loves you very much and wants

you to get better too.

Big hugs!

Traci
