Guest guest
Hello again everyone, Thanks to Larry in Baltimore, Arne in Minnesota, Maureen (wife of Jim), Barbara (UK), and Deanna (Dee in Peoria, wife of Bob), for all of your welcomes, advice, encouragement, and new sites to meander through! You all answered my note so quickly! I am a little ignorant of PSC because (thank the Lord), the main problem mine caused me (so far) has been pancreatitis and diabetes. It hasn't affected my liver as of yet. My PSC is in the pancreatic duct (and stangely enough, my sibling Debbie also has the same malody.) My docs think the PSC is a result of Chrone's Disease or vice/versa?? My sister Deb also has Chrone's Disease and pancreatitis, but has faired much better than I). I am 52 years old (last December 16.) I live in a small farming city (4,000 population) in California. Gustine lies in or around San Juaquine Valley. It is 3 hour car drive south of Sacramento and about 1 and a half hour drive south east from San . We are 2 hours from San Francisco and about the same distance from Santa Cruz/Monterey area. We are about 1 and a half hours west of Yosemite National Park. I am the wife of Jim (he will be 52 in May) and mother of Amy (she just turned 15 in November). I collect anything froggy or anything that looks like snowmen. I love musical comedies (especially and Hammerstein), but enjoy most any type of movie that has a good storyline or plot. I just like to be entertained! I also paint (I especially like landscapes and seascapes, but can be coerced into trying a portait), and can spend hours fritting away at arts and crafts when my sit-upon feels well enough to sit upon it. Jim works for Fed Ex. He drives a truck and picks up and delivers packages at places of business in San . I used to teach Computer lab at Hillsdale Elementary School in San , but eventually got to sick to continue. I now collect SSI. My Amy is a sophmore in High School and can't wait to graduate (so she says, but I see how bored she gets during vacation with no school.) We have three dogs, 5 cats, two lizzards, (a water dragon named Puff, and a bearded dragon named Godzilla), and two Cockatiels named Beanie and Cecil. As you guessed, I take in animals that people no longer can take care of. They all seem to get along just fine. I have had numerous surgeries because of pancreatitis, Chron's, and proctitis. My doctors think that all of my illnesses link back to Crohn's disease. Well, I probably bored you all too much, so I will end this letter with hopes that God will bless you all and that everyone's health will pick up. Love, Maddi from Gustine, California
