Message from sey (below). . . I wish I could believe that the reason there are no children registered (yet) is because there are no kids affected by breast implants. .. But I know better! If getting anything done about the children's issues is important to you, PLEASE take the time to register. It's terribly important! Please pass this on to family and friends who have children who've been affected by their mother's implants. Rogene--------------------------------------------------------------------- I have been informed -- to date, the head count for the Breast Implant Registry www.birthdefects.org is ZERO. I will be sitting down at the computer (for sure) on Saturday March 17th to get this task done as I have not been able to find the time (this is MY excuse---which NONE OF US should really have any excuses, MYSELF included) because of trying to finish up with several other tasks I was committed to.If people do not want to do this breast implant registry, that is YOUR choice. But please, do not complain when those within the medical community as a whole fail to listen to the voice of moms whose children have been

exposed to silicone & saline breast implants whether platinum postive OR not.If you know of anyone with offspring exposed to breast implants who may be presenting with health issues, PLEASE contact those people now and encourage them to submit data as soon as possible~ This organization is very willing to collect the data, and do something with the findings in order to uphold medicine, science and research that to that highest of high standard of First, do NO harm with breast implants. If we are not proactive (now) about the harm that has been caused with breast implant exposure, then we really should NOT complain about what we/our children have been exposed to & what health issues they are presenting with. There is NOTHING

more I can do for anyone...At this time, getting this organization involved, is the best I can do for children exposed to breast implants.WE ALL have to step up to the plate for ourselves (which would include - submit the data with this organization www.birthdefects.org as it is the right thing to do to have a 3rd party organization involved who is truly dispassionate to observe the data with an organization involved... who is not for us, but not against us, who CAN INDEED be objective in what they find in order to oneday uphold medicine, science and research to that highest of high standard of First, do no harm with breast implants & exposure to offspring) .
