Guest guest
Can you define hyperactive? It seems to mean different things to different people. What is different now than before and in what way is the extra energy that he has now a negative thing? Also, how did you start the diet? With the intro? Adding new foods slowly to look for intolerances? Three weeks is sometimes too early to be introducing any nut flours. It just depends on each child. Please tell us what he is eating now as well. We will do our best to help you. Jody mom to -5.1 and -7.
Guest guest
---What you're saying does sound like fenol intolerance. Look at this page for some things you can do other than taking all phenol foods out of the diet. http://danasview.net/phenol.htm You can give enzymes, use epsom salts baths & there's even a recipe for cream you can make that might help. My daughter had problems with hyperactivity using almonds, blueberries & tomatoes. I give the Houston enzymes to her everytime she eats a phenolic food. It works great for us. I'm not sure though if the one I give is legal or not. We use the No Fenol enzyme from Houstons. I chose doing this over trying to remove all phenols out of her diet. I felt she was too limited already. Good luck. Cristy pecanbread , jwend@a... wrote: > My son started the diet 3 weeks ago. His mood has gone from a 3 to about a > 7, a huge improvements.
