It's not the Pepsi that is helping you, it's the caffeine that is in it. Caffeine is often used in combination with pain medications to facilitate pain relieve. I've several clients who were in the predicament you're in, with drinking large amounts of caffeinated pop. One simple switch is to drink some coffee or tea instead. A quality instant coffee is easier on the stomach than regular coffee or than caffeinated pop. Another simple solution is to take the store brand version of Excedrin. It's just a combination of caffeine, aspirin, and acetaminophen. No matter which way you go, you need to gradually lower how much caffeine you're putting in to you system. We really can get too much of a good thing. :-) -- Lyndi
