Guest guest
Lea ~ Now I understand that weird email and that man .........That was really strange. My heart goes out to you, you sure have been through some very rough challenges. If you dont mind my asking, how many times have you had PE's? do you have CHF? I havent made my appt with my PS yet, I am still trying to get better first, and am eliminating meds and exercising, very carefully and stuff. I am hoping I dont get the big NO on surgery..... This last week I have lost 5 lbs ! ! Between the Kefir and taking a leap of faith and changing up my meds and deleting one of them..........I am excited about this. I still have my waves of death in line to be warmed over, but since these changes, and all the love and support, I see more of the light now. Do you have copies of your surgery OP reports and labs and tests and things? That has been very important to me, as I listen to what the doc says, but I go over all my labs and research from every site I can, then I ask God his opinion, and then follow my gut. Right now, looks like it is working. I am praying for you and sending you healing energy, God Bless~ DAOL now offers free email to everyone. Find out more about what's free from AOL at AOL.com. Guest guest
Thank you, Rogene: I agree, and I am not worried about it. We thought that he might have been to Ilena's site and seen my picture and our email. He sounds like a jerk. There is a lawyer in Calgary who is keeping an eye on me. That is where the "big" firms are...close to the mountains. I have received one warning! They can all take a long walk on a short pier. Regarding the hiatal hernia, my doctors have told me that they would never do this surgery on me. When I had surgery on my ankle, they told me that I might die. My family doctor told them to just do the surgery...they did an epidural. I was so sick that I was vomiting in their garbage pail, while my doctor was on the phone trying to talk to me. The reason that they do not want to do surgery is because of the PEs that I have had, and the respiratory problems. We are wondering if the plate that they put in my ankle is silicone, and if the four screws are stainless steel. Thank you for all that you do...sending love...Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Re: Fw: Information please - Plastic surgeons needed.(URGENT) Lea . . . This sounds like a spam message . . . Taking him on won't do any good! . . . I think they picked up your name in a computer search of "Breast implants. That's unlikely even his name! If anyone knew anything about you, they wouldn't send you a message like that! Love, Rogene
Guest guest
Lea, It's unlikely they would put a silicone plate in your leg. . . Most likely titanium because it's so light and strong. The harder the materials, the less likely they are to cause you problems because the macrophages can't tear them apart . . . Soft materials, like breast implants seem to be the worse. Guest guest
Oh, Dede, there are days when I feel like giving up; however, another sick women calls me and that makes me angry. The plastic surgeons know that these devices are not safe, and yet they continue to implant women. I wonder why so many women have had their implants in for more that 20 years. The plastic surgeons are now saying that they must be removed every 10 years! I have had three PEs, and the last one could have killed me, if I had not insisted on a VQ scan. When the report came back, I had so many doctors in my room and that frightened me. They told me that I could die, and I said no I am not going to die. My PEs are not typical and that was the problem with the first two. I was having difficulty breathing and had a bit of a cough, but no blood. They thought that it was an Asthma attack, now if I should ever have to go through this again....they must contact my pulmonary specialist. She wants to watch the path of destruction, this is frightening...she said no intervention until she arrives! Good thing that she works at the hospital Honey, I am happy that you are losing weight, my weight is still around 160lbs. and I am little. My heart was enlarged for a few years, but it has gone back to normal. I have had many lung problems, and I have failed the stress test; however, I have not had to used my nebulizer since 2004, but there are times that I should use it. Yesterday was one of those days, my breathing was very bad last night again. Please take care of our special new friend...love you.......Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~```` Re: Regarding the RAT, and my hiatal hernia: Lea ~ Now I understand that weird email and that man .........That was really strange. Guest guest
Hello Lea ~ I am sorry you feel so bad, you have been through the ringer ! ! Yes, all the literature on even the early testing in the early 50's proved that silicone is NOT for human implantation or consumption in any shape, form, or amount ! Then it was red taped and put into ARCHIVES.............to be lost in time.......purposely..... Now I find it very strange how they are handelling your PE's...........like you say......wonders me............ I saw on the tube tonight a doctor from HARVARD wrote a book Updated: How Doctors Think Can Affect Diagnoses CBS A doctor interrupts a patient within 18 seconds of describing symptoms. Dr. Jerome Groopman says that can be catastrophic, because the last thing a patient says often becomes a key clue to a diagnosis, Couric reports. More... Explore: Dr. Jon LaPook Watch: Patience For Patients Read More: FYI: Groopman Unfortunately, we are LABELED the instant we make an appointment, or as soon as they find out we had anyting at all to do with implants at all ! ! Very good article. Girl, I may have lost 5 lbs, but I am still 173, I was 178 a week ago Tuesday. I stopped the Lasix that day, and started the Kefir 4 days ago, so I dont know which is doing it, or a combination of the 2. I am tiney too. 5"4, but very small boned, and always around 105-115, except when I delivered my daughter, I was 143, and when I delivered my son, I was 133. I have always been skinney. I am glad you havent had to use your nebuliser in awhile. I just hate medicine. You know, remember when I told you about my 2 hour pulmonary function test at the hospital, and it came out moderate to severe obstruction without emphysema?? and the pulmonary doc I went to, went on and on about safety of implants? Then he put me on spiriva.......not for somewith my heart condition, and not with someone that has clear lungs on x-ray and CT and no wheeze or bronchitis at all ! ! You know what??? I even wonder if that pulmonary test I did was even right.....???????............He made a judgement of me based on the implants, not on expertise. Just what that doctor was talking about. I have to tell you, I WILL be handeling things with a couple of doctors and the hospital mistake that sent me to ICU. Another thing, they assume someone that has dialated cardiomyopathy, and lung and liver and kidney failure to be alcoholics. I DONT DRINK and havent in years and years, and didnt drink much then ! ! ! It just pisses me off. Seeing this doctor on TV today, just made my decision to tackle the problems I have had with the medical field ! ! ! I feel pretty good today, usual aches and pains, but nothing killing me besides these saline atomic bombs............. Love and Hugs ~DedeAOL now offers free email to everyone. Guest guest
Thank you sweet Dede: I will write more later. I must shower and do all the things that we do each day. My pain seems better today, but I have been on the two antibiotics for only two days. Have a happy day and get well soon...sending love....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Re: Regarding the RAT, and my hiatal hernia: Hello Lea ~ I am sorry you feel so bad, you have been through the ringer ! !
