Guest guest
I'm not sure what to think of this email. Yesterday was the 5th death anniversary of my Dad's mom (anyone else's nada's love death dates?), whom my mother hated. Nobody apparently " remembered it " (we did, but not like we would call them). This went to all four children: Thanks for remembering the 5th anniversary of <grandma's> death today. It meant a lot to your father. I'm typing the summer diaries, including all my notes--a printer here will bind copies--I'm up to July 1995 and it struck me as absolutely amazing what Daddy did between trips to Japan, California and Boston, working 12-hour graveyard shifts while the union workers at the local plant were on strike, all the time cleaning the swimming pool, teaching Sunday School, reading Dr. Seuss and grilling hamburgers --all because, as he wrote in a card he mailed home, he loved his children.. Love, Mom Hello, passive aggressive? I don't think I'm going to grace it with a response.
