Guest guest
Hi , I got my DMSA pills from several sources, but I used Captomer, made by Thorne Research. If you do an internet search, you will find more info about it, but here are a couple links to help out: http://www.fxmed.co.nz/ThorneProductInfo/Captomer.htm http://drkalish.com/shop/item.asp?cID=34 & PID=71 http://www.healthdesigns.com/ShopSite/Thorne/thorne_research-ss2.html Pattysedwards41255 <sedwards41255@...> wrote: Gretchen,I did all three, urine Challenge test, blood and a hair analysis by Doctors Data. You can do the hair analysis from Doctors Data without having a doctor order the test. All three of my test, gave me three differet results. Go figure! I did not have a good experience with chelating....but I may try it again. If I do I think I will ask Patty where she got the DMSA. I used something with both DMSA and EDTA in it ...as well as d-penicillamine which is awful stuff. !> >> > i wonder if anyone has had any luck with this?> >> > --> > gretchen> >> >> > ------------------------------> > Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell?> > Check out new cars at Autos.<http://us.rd./evt=48245/*http://autos./new_cars.html;_ylc=X3oDMTE1YW1jcXJ2BF9TAzk3MTA3MDc2BHNlYwNtYWlsdGFncwRzbGsDbmV3LWNhcnM->> >> > > >> > > > -- > gretchen> Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell? Guest guest
, It is Methylsulfonylmethane, and is a natural occurring sulfur compound found in the tissues and fluids of all living organisms. You can buy MSM powder, and it has reputed health benefits for aiding in joint health but has also been shown to support liver detoxification. That's where the sulfur helps best. If you do internet research, you will find much info and all kinds of places selling it. It can be taken as a powder, or in pills. http://www.msm.com/index_files/page0001.htm "Some of sulfur’s essential functions include maintaining structure of the proteins in the body, helping the formation of keratin which is essential for hair and nail growth, aiding in the production of immunoglobulin which maintains the immune system, and catalyzing the chemical reactions which change food into energy." Guest guest
Does anyone know if a history of hair colour would disrupt the heavy metal hair analysis? Guest guest
Yes, it can. I had to have some regrowth before I could do my hair analysis. You don't want hair products on your hair either. Guest guest
Katy, They recommend you allow your hair to grow out a bit and cut it as close to the scalp as possible so it isn't tainted by hair color. For this reason, I took mine from " underneath " near the neck line. They also want you to list all shampoos and mark if you color your hair. I can't remember exactly how much they needed...an ounce maybe. And they give you a little measuring device to make sure you get enough for them to test. At least this is what Doctors Data wanted. Hope this help, , katy mclean <thesuddendeparture@...> wrote: > > Does anyone know if a history of hair colour would disrupt the heavy metal hair analysis? Guest guest
Katy, Hair treatments will mess up a hair analysis . . . Contact whoever is going to do the testing for instructions. Rogene
Guest guest
Kenda, I colour my own hair; however, I use the one without the peroxide in it. My doctor told me that it is okay, but I might have to go blonde or be normal and have grey hair! I have never had my nails done, never had a facial, or anything else...just implants. I see my hairdresser once a year for a blunt cut...same hairdresser for 30 years. Wonders me!...Love you....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~``` Re: iv chelation Yes, it can. Guest guest
Thanks , Wow, this really goes to show that everything we put in and ON our bodies affects us!! Is the hair test the standard way to test for heavy metals? I am pretty sure that this is a problem for me, as I'm sure it is for many of us! Guest guest
for homeopathic vaccines - http://www.cindeegardner.com - Dr. Cindee does this, and did ours for college entrance. The rest. . . wow, I wish we could get a direct line to this woman. There is so much there. Do we have any idea HOW they are testing her for metal toxicity? I'm wonder if they are doing challenge tests, which are unreliable and unsafe, and an added thing to address here. I'd at least start with Andy's site - http://www.noamalgam.com but I'll let other more experienced voices answer for the rest. My heart does go out to her, and thanks for helping all you can! Guest guest
She needs to understand that the $1000.00 chelation treatments are extremely harmful to her health as well as her pocketbook. In case she is considering DMPS IV chelation: http://www.dmpsbackfire.com/default.shtml To understand her own toxicity: http://www.noamalgam.com/ http://books.google.com/books?id=ZG9glNfif5YC & dq=amalgam+illness & pg=PP1 & ots=15u5\ QzTqS0 & sig=nbgrQ15gJj0pRQPYOiOTOReo3kI & hl=en & prev=http://www.google.com/search http://www.noamalgam.com/hairtestbook.html http://books.google.com/books?id=U765adeBPlEC & pg=PP1 & dq=Hair+Test+Interpretation\ & sig=3gUl0BYfnWoo-8m30AetodDOFk0 For a viewpoint on " user-friendly vaccination " http://www.lewrockwell.com/miller/miller15.html For food allergies: http://www.usbioteklabs.com/ Phone them and ask for the name of a practitioner in her area who can order the tests or if the tests are available through www.directlabs.com The other way to test would be with elimination and challenge - totally eliminate the food, including trace amounts, for 4 days and then challenge with as much of the food that she can tolerate on the 5th day and see what her symptoms are. If symptoms are not clear, repeat. J > > Help! I need resources to e-mail a friend of a friend.
