My GI is OK with a couple of beers twice a week. I think it depends on how

advanced your PSC is. If you don't have any symptoms, LFTs are OK, etc.,

" responsible " drinking is probably acceptable. If you do have LFT

indications, any stress on the liver that can be avoided, should be

(alcohol, excessive Tylenol, high protein, high fat diet, etc.).

I have been lurking on this board for around 6 months (on and off,

mostly off, that helps me to remain in denial) I have a really quick

question, and probably not a very intelligent one, does anyone know

if wine is ok to drink if you have PSC? I realize that I shouldn't

drink most alcohol but I was just wondering if and occasional glass

of wine is ok?? Thanks!

My hep says a couple of drinks a month won't hurt anything in the early

stages, either wine or alcohol, especially since I didn't drink much to

begin with. Hope this helps with your question.
