Hi Traci, and everybody! Thanks for the health wishes:) I saw my Dr. on Thurs and after 2.5 weeks of this relentless bronchial thing not getting any better, I broke down started some antibiotics. I feel better after 1 day of taking them. I guess my body needed a little help this time. I let it get really bad before I went in. My Dr. gave me a ventolin inhaler too, but I am trying not to use it too much because I'm sure it isn't good for me. Also found out that the lump in my breast is not a lymph node and so must get an ultrasound and possibly a needle biopsy to find out what is going on. So now the wait for tests! I am still going ahead with my explant research and hopefully this lump won't hold things up in that dept. And I have been researching alot!! I got my Dr. to refer me to Dr. Mahoney (recommended by Dr.

Blais and Joyce Attis), so waiting to hear from his office. Can't remember if he believes in implant illness or not. Also, I sent an email to Dr. Brown saying that I planned to go ahead with en bloc explant with drains and possibly a lift and his coordinator called me to book another consult with him. I have been talking to Dr. Feng and Dr. Huang's offices too. Still collecting info at this point and trying to work out finances to see if I can go to one of them. Just realized that Clevland isn't too far from Toronto, I think about a 4 hour drive... Katy:)TM McIntosh <prowlermeow@...> wrote: Hi Katy,I'm sorry to hear you've been down with the chestinfection. Dear Katy, You are at the point that I was about a month ago when I finally discovered what was causing me to lose the battle with my health. The years of strange ailments and symptoms finally began to make sense to me and I knew I needed to have my implants removed as soon as I could. I started a massive Internet search for the best doctor for me and, since I need to fly in from Korea, location wasn't much of a consideration. I located 3 doctors and corresponded with them to see if they would be responsive, as I felt that would be a good indication of the type of care I could expect to receive. All 3 responded, so I next did research to see who would accept my insurance and came up with 2. I read everything I could about them and also articles they had written, contacted previous patients and finally selected the one I felt best fit my beliefs and preferences concerning

medicine. I am scheduled to be explanted on April 16th with Dr. Kolb and I am anxious to get it done and behind me. I feel I will be able to heal from years of poisoning by having these removed and adhering to her detox protocols, diet and suggested supplements. Fortunately she accepts Medicare (I am on disability for Fibromyalgia...which is most likely onset by these implants) and my surgery should be covered. I know the Lord has led me to this time and place in my healing, and I know He wants all of us to be healthy and to enjoy life. He will lead you if you will ask, and provide a way for you to regain the precious gift of health in your life. The ladies here are awesome with support and prayers. We are blessed to have them all and share in their wisdom. I'll add a prayer for you too! Deb

Dear Deb, Awe thanks for the support!! I know and have total faith that I am going to get my explant done soon!!! I had the realization about the symptoms last year and thats when I started my research and found Saline Support! I am anxious as well to get this taken care of and move on with the healing! The way you chose Dr. Kolb was very smart.. You really researched! I am trying to do the same. Because I live in Canada, Healthcare covers a good portion of explant surgery. The only thing is trying to find a Dr. who believes in the illness connection. So far that hasn't been possible. Also, the wait for surgery can be quite lengthly if you're not having any immediate complication....That is why I am looking at Dr.s in the US and working on getting a loan. I imagine that travelling will allow me to get my explant done faster. Thank you for the kind words... I'll be following in

your footsteps A.S.A.P!! Katy,

You'll have a hard time finding a doctor who will admit to implant illnesses . . . I suspect some do believe implants cause illness - but aren't going to stick their neck out.

Look for a doctor who respects YOUR right to determine what you want done and will agree to do what YOU want done (as long as it's a good medical practice - which en bloc is).

If he/she agrees that implants are dangerous, all the better!

Perhaps the presence of a lump will speed up the process! . . . Hopefully it will be benign and of no concern.

I had early stage breast cancer last year . . . If, heaven forbid, the lump should turn out to be cancer, see if Mammosite radiation therapy is available, and if you qualify. With Mammosite radiation, a balloon is inserted during surgery into which a wire is run. This wire delivers high dose radiation for ten minutes. Then it's withdrawn. The treatment is repeated six hours later. This is repeated (twice a day) for five days, and it's over. No pain, no burns, no fatigue. The body gets much less radiation than with whole breast radiation. The reoccurance rate in the treated breast is no more than the untreated breast . . . This leaves researchers to believe that, if a cancer should reoccur in that breast, it's a new cancer, rather than coming from cancer cells left behind.

Hugs and prayers,

Rogene

Thanks Rogene! I am very grateful that if the lump should turn out to be anything suspect, I will have you and a few others here to guide me through. That is so very re-assuring for me in this time of uncertainty. Thank you for the advice:) I finally talked to my regular Dr. about the implant/illness connection and was thrilled that she was open to listening to what I had to say! This is a step in the right direction to at least getting certain tests done here in Canada. My Dr. is young and fresh out of med school and very keen on getting to the bottom of my case! I agree that finding a PS who believes is much more difficult, although both Dr. Feng and Dr. Huang have been very insightful on the subject, both stressing the need for proper removal to ensure health recovery. Thank you for sharing your wisdom! Katy:)Rogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: Katy, You'll have a hard time finding a doctor who will admit to implant illnesses . . . I suspect some do believe

Hi Traci Everything is coming along....Still have not heard back from Dr. Mahoney's office eventhough I was referred at the end of March..I have my 2nd consult with Dr. Brown next week and then I see the G.I specialist and have the ultrasound on the lump in my breast at the end of May.... Quite a process, but I'll get there! I am filing a complaint with the CVO about the first vet I brought Clover to now that I have been able to get another professional opinion. Thank you so much for the lead with that! I think this experience with the cat has made me want to be VERY THOROUGH with my research about my own explant. I suppose there is a great lesson in there, as there

often is.. How are you doing? I have been wondering about you!! Hope you are feeling well these days. If an earlier surgery appt comes available for you how much notice will you get? I have my fingers crossed Traci!! Hugs, KatyTM McIntosh <prowlermeow@...> wrote: Katy, I call my implants my "frankenboobies". I feel like a freak with them. Can't wait to get them out. We could come up with some great names for these time bombs.

Good one Lynda! I'm laughing so hard here I'm in

Lynda,

I think Prowler knows they are fake. Here's a pic of

me (with a silly look on my face) and Prowler. He's

standing on my hard right tupperboob and he's hanging

Let me know if the pic doesn't turn out.
