Hi Phyllis,

If you have something you wish to share with the group, please feel free to

do so. It is true this list is about diabetes, but there is more to life

than diabetes. If I had to think diabetes 24 hrs a day, I'l be crazy.

As long as , the list owner, doesn't object to what you post, no one

else should. After all, this is her list. That's something else I'm

thankful for. That I found this list. I've been a member for almost a year

and I enjoy it very much.

Thank you, .

Eunice

Hi ,

If anyone wishes to contact me privately, I have no objection to that. I may

not always have an answer, but I'm willing to listen. My goal is to help

everyone keep normal BG's.

Phyllis,

As Eunice said (thank you, Eunice) I've

encouraged the list to talk about stressful things in

each one's lives. Stress is definitely a problem with

Bg levels, and sometimes when you talk out a problem

with all these great folks on the list, it seems so

much easier!

I hope we don't get into politics, dirty jokes,

religious confrontations, etc.

These would increase my " stress level " !! As well

as others on the list.

If you'd rather not discuss your " stressor " with

the list Eunice, , or I (petra@...) would

be happy to Email you off-list. (Didn't really ask

Eunice or if this was OK, but hopefully it

is!)

What it amounts to is we want to be here for you,

what we don't need is people who want to tell us what

we should and should not do on the list.

You didn't have to ask, it is perfectly ok with me.

I know you have done that in the past. So I hoped you

wouldn't mind me saying that. If it gets too much let

me know and I will rescind that offer and have them

just write to me.

Thank you for being so helpful.

By the way, we did see the doctors today, and they

still are scratching their heads!! They have " no idea "

what is the trouble with Thane. Very frustrating for

everybody!

Thank you so much for agreeing to co-moderate. I

realize it takes a lot of time! It really helps to

share moderation with such a large list.

Thank you for making yourself available if anyone

would have a question just for one of us!

Hi ,

A few years ago, a friend of ours was having a lot of problems, was being

treated by local doctors for different ailments and nothing was working. His

wife started calling the Mayo Clinic and got him in there. It took less than

a week for them to find out his problems. You may want to consider another

option.

I hate that they can't figure out what is going on with Thane. What is the

next step?

Have you tryed getting in contact with your State Medical College? A lot of

times they can come up with the answers when nobody else has an idea what is

wrong. Good Luck, will keep both of you in my thoughts.

Take Care
