Guest guest
I need to tattoo this on my wrists or something... I go through bouts of not getting in enough water... I've had to come up with all kinds of reminders to keep drinking.. I've had a poor thirst 'reflex' all my life. Thanks, Bev! Guest guest
I have a neat mug that my dad bought on a trip years ago.. I never go anywhere in the house with it... I get up to go to the bathroom, that mug goes with me... it gets filled before I go to bed at night and sits on the night stand, my law says that every time I look at the mug right now I have to have a sip.... when I leave the house I bring bottles of water with me. I refill pop bottles with filtered water. The new computer case I got comfortably holds four 20 ounce bottles when I go on a call... so I never have the excuse of not having the water.. just remembering to drink it! My normal 'water catch up' is a stack of pennies.. every time I have to fill the 16 ounce mug I move a penny from the left hand pile to the right... I have 10 pennies in my stack, so 160 ounces, about half of what I should be taking if I were 'normal' for my weight. I used to fill 2 liter bottles (aprox 128 ounces) with water.. 2 bottles every morning... but the pennies work better for me... it's a visual.. building the right hand pile... I don't always do ten... but it's my personal challenge. If the swelling isn't down significantly by morning. I'll be setting the alarms on the puter... I have to get this swelling down.. I know it's not healthy for me to have my system that stressed.. and there is an internal imbalance that I need to deal with... AND we have a heat wave on it's way.. so by Friday I'll have to deal with that too... so I need to get down to the bottom of what caused this and how to correct it... I want to trade my body in on a new one.. anybody seen any good deals??? Guest guest
I carried a jug very similar to that when I was working outside the house.. now I work from a home office (for crappy pay!!! but I like the boss - me) So my structure for the water in take is varied... it's odd.. I do good with taking pills a dozen or more times a day.. but can't seem to get the water into me regularly.. The water thing has been lifelong.. I think that is why it was so easy for me to get hooked on sodas.. I can drink those until I slosh without a problem.. but water... One day, I hope, I'll get the hang of it!!! hehehehehe Topper () On Thu, 17 Jun 2004 17:47:02 -0700 (PDT) Kathy Kitzcat writes: > The way I keep up with my water intake is I carry a 2 > qt.
