Guest guest
Have you taken away the pork rinds yet? Patti can yogurt really make a difference with your child Now that I'm thinking about attempting yogurt with Kenzie I would like to hear from people who really think yogurt has made a difference. I understand about the good bacteria but how significant can it be? Kenzie has been through a million different interventions. He still only eats about three foods on this diet no matter how hard I try so yogurt will be no easy task. Nothing we've done has ever really made things " click " for him. No bursts of language, no kind of real play. Still mainly autistic behaviors. I'm beginning to think that's how it will always be. Anyhow I would REALLY appreciate either on or off list people's stories on how using the yogurt changed things. I'd love to hear both the good and bad. This I figure will be at least a $100. investment to start and I know he's going to fight it so I want to make sure it's worth it. Thanks so much. Penny Kenzie 7 y.o. SCD 15 wks. I understand about the good bacteria but how significant can it be? This is what we have seen: weight increase again. While on SCD, my son gaines weight steadily all the time (very welcome). After getting the nut yoghurt going steadily, this weight gain curve has become steeper, the increase is speeding up. People notice that he looks much better. Is it the fatty yoghurt? Is it the healthiness? Also his stool is has become firmer instantly. I haven't seen a mushy or discolered stool since the nut yoghurt. BUT I decided to experiment on nut yoghurt because my son did not tolerate goats yoghurt. I sincerely think that the goats yoghurt and the nut yoghurt have the exact same beneficial features.
