I suspect I have Ankylosing Sponylitis, but before I try to take the NHS to court I am currently trying to ensure I have got my facts right It is a long story this, and for now comers, it really is not important, this is just personal stuff, but I just wanted to share this I have just found a site where the No Starch Diet is being promoted as a treatemnt for Fibromyalgia My view is that all carbs affect Fibro, but I thought it was interesting that the folk at the site below have also found a connection to carbohydrates and fibro If any of you want to know more about why i favour Bees diet over this one, just ask. Eventhough I do favour Bees diet, I do think there are some very valid points raised by this NSD group If you want to see where it talks about Fibro just press Health http://people.bu.edu/sobieraj/nutrition/nocho.html Love Joanne

Guest guest
Hi, I had a glucose tolerance test back in the 1980s, and was told I had hypoglycemia. So I tried to control it by cutting down on sugar, and have between meal snacks, but still had the symptoms. Going really low carb i finally was able to get along without a snack, and did not get hungry between meals, and finally got my sugar cravings much more under control. High Carbs make your blood sugar go up, and then go down. Without high carbs, blood sugar will not go up, Also too, saturated fat will keep your blood sugar stable. I also have some protein at every meal, but a modest amount. Hope that helps. c > > I couldn't be on a no startch diet because I have hypoglycemia. which you have to have protein and starch. ine
