Guest guest
Carole Why didn't he already run the antibodies tests, as a first line defensive move? It never makes sense to me. Has he had your TSH suppressed in all this time, to help shrink nodules? Finally seen my GP - Here goes then............ > > > I have been a bit quiet this week as the kids have been playing up > thanks to everyone who give me some diet advice for my adrenals.I am > trying it out. > > I finally got to see my GP today after my scan. For anything other we have to see what GP's call a Specalist. By the way what is TSH? Carole

Guest guest
about.com has some articles about nodules you might want to read. Guest guest
Yes, this is true, it's like closing the barn door after the horses already got loose, to be trying to suppress now, but I was just wondering if he had EVER tried to suppress them, before they got to be this size, while they were still small. At this point, I would definitely be for the surgery. Just makes me mad that he didn't evidently do this before this happened, if he's been monitoring them all this time. Re: Finally seen my GP - Here goes then............ Only very small nodules can be shrunk by suppression. Anything big enough to move her trachea over needs to yanked out forthwith, no other options.
