Teri/Ken Pirfenidone question

Teri, thanks for the update. I do remember reading posts from you when I first joined I think. And I remember seeing pics in one of 's albums. I had asked a while back for an update from Ken/Wayne and anyone else who was in the Pirfenidone study. They wrote back too. Now that I'm rereading your post, I am drawing a blank on what they think this drug will do. I know I could do a search and weed thru what I find, but I was hoping you or Ken or somebody could refresh my memory. What's this drug for, what are they looking for, what will be considered a success for this trial? Thanks, Kerry IPF '01 S.
