Guest guest
.. have you ever had a breaded pork chop, or schnitzel, or breaded and baked chicken? Do you like those? Try doing the liver with your favorite breading and pan frying. It's great. I just did a batch that was a bit different. I took some oatmeal and ran it through the blender to break it up finer... used that as my coating.. it was great! The iron and trace minerals in liver is really beneficial, I think. It's an excellent source of iron, but I just can't stand it. Yukka!!!
Guest guest
See, I LOVE beef liver.. but chicken livers make me run.. I got teased about that not too long ago.. I'm gonna give them another shot... I'm not sure how they compare, nutritionally with beef liver though... is the vitamin/mineral content pretty good or not? Guest guest
Nope, human female... my dad's lady.... she loves poultry livers and gizzards so she gets them when I do a bird and I get the hearts.... She's the one that joins me in the beef liver feasts, she went wild the first time I did my breaded liver.. so the last time they had it and the store (the don't often have it) we each got a pound and I cooked up the whole batch... Poor daddy, just shakes his head at us!! hehehheeheh Topper () www.thyrophoenix.com On Wed, 7 Jul 2004 14:29:16 -0700 (PDT) Jan writes: Are you refering to a feline housemate? Guest guest
If you think I'd pass on a beef or pork steak.. you're wrong.. I'm just a carnivorous beastie and I scarf the red meats down without any problems... hehehehehe Topper () On Sat, 10 Jul 2004 08:50:44 -0500 " " writes: > I say YUKKAAAA!!!
