Guest guest
I read this from someone who obtained it. I am just posting this in case it helps someone who needs it this badly. " When you answer the questions for SSI (Disability), tell them what you can't do not how you feel, for example, I can't do dishes all at once need to sit and relax, can't walk in store need to get wheelchair, can't drive meds make you dizzy, tired and almost ran off rode couple of times, can't sleep, can't bath everyday because hard to get in and out of tub so only do it once or twice a week, can't do own grocery shopping need help etc. Good luck on appeal. I finally got mine. Thank God. " I would not apply for disabiltiy unless you absolutely can't work. You are limited in getting work again, and on and on and on. The system takes over your life with rules that can make you feel you have lost your life. Make sure you absolutely need it. As I read what she wrote, I thought this makes sense, but they will probably take away her drivers licence. Maybe only drive when meds aren't affecting you and leave that out is what I thought. If I feel I can't drive for any reason from being tired or whatever, I just don't do it. Then I wouldn't have to put that in. But everyone is in a different situation and I understand that. Where is everyone? The board seems inactive. Love, Jean
