Didn't someone say something about the adrenal gland causing back pain . .. right about there???

, where are you? . . .

I know it's scary, but you're going to get through it . . .

It might be interesting to find out what all your stats are before your explant though . . .

Does your doctor believe your implants are causing your health problems?

Most of our women start feeling a bit anxious right now . . . Personally, I think that's all that's going on.

Just relax and tell everyone that you want to be a princess for a few days!

Hugs,

Rogene

Re: Shooting Pains and Painful Hand Spasms/Cramps

Rogene,My hand has cramped about 3 times since and still doesn't feel normal, very achey. This is somewhat scaring me because I have also felt lower right back pain, like my kidney aches. I am falling apart. These are not good things 3 days before surgery. If it doesn't feel any better tomorrow I might try to get a doctors appointment to make sure there is nothing abnormal about my urine or calcium levels. Rogene,

I'm sorry...I have been concentrating on my own stupid health the

last couple of days!

Yes...there is such a thing as " adrenal pain " . It is

called " Rogoff's Sign " . Also, there are three muscle groups low

cortisol and adrenal fatigue will affect...the knees, the hip

joint/sacral joint, and the back.

Lynn...I had this before explant and I had it after explant.

Not as much since being on Armour and Cortef.

I too thought it was my kidneys, bladder..etc. Had a full bladder

and kidney work up with specialist....NOTHING! But that darn achy

pain was still there.

My back pain...is on the side of my back..on the right...under the

last rib.

Hope this helps....

Lynn ~

Be sure and ask for copies of all your lab work. I have all mine and I have sites I look them all up. That way, I can keep up with things, see things they overlook, and have knowledge to ask questions. Most of all, I have caught many mistakes and overlooks..........sad but true...... Here is the lab test site that I look everything up on. Each test it tells what it is for, how it is done, what results mean, what can affect the tests and things like that.

Quest Diagnostics: Patient Health Library Search Results , I learn alot about things here on this site. hugs and prayers ~ DSee what's free at AOL.com.

Hi ,

Yes this does help. Perhaps after surgery I will look in to the

testing for the adrenals. This is where my pain is as well, it will

radiate to the top of my right hip bone at times.

I asked the doctor if the UA he took also checked the cortisol. I

think I shocked him, he didn't know what to say. He then said, I

think you'll be fine for surgery. I again said, so through my urine

you can tell my adrenals are working fine - he said yes.

Thanks Dede - I have booked marked the site as a favorite. I will

indeed ask for copies of my labs after I recover from surgery.
