Guest guest
High Tech Health is the one my son uses at his doctor's office. It was also the one that was at Autism One. No glues, wood finishes, or any other toxins. Snaps together in about a half hour. Very nice unit. Don't take liquids inside it, however, since there is no finish on the wood. Sit on towels, so perspiration doesn't warp the wood. Lila > > We are looking for a Far Infrared Sauna for detox and were looking for > advice on finding a non-toxic unit. Guest guest
We LOVE our Heavenly Heat sauna. We got the combination so we can use both the FIR and the traditional sauna alone or together. It's a beautiful unit, very well built, shipped and packed with care, goes together very easily and works well. My daughter uses a sauna at her college and says our unit is much more effective. Barb (who has no financial connection to this company!) [ ] Far Infrared Sauna We are looking for a Far Infrared Sauna for detox and were looking for advice on finding a non-toxic unit. Any suggestions? So far we are looking for a poplar wood units without glue and are looking at Heavenly Heat, High Tech Health, and Miracle Heat. Heavenly Heat is the only glue free sauna we have found so far, High Tech Health has some in their interiors and Miracle Heat says they use some gorilla glue on the exterior trim. We would very much appreciate knowing what others have learned. Thank you,
Guest guest
We have a Heavenly Heat unit, which we love. Our son's doc, who's put more thousands of folks through sauna in his clinic, says its the most non-toxic unit you can buy. On our doc's recommendation, we bought the one with dry heat and FIR (the A+2). You can use dry heat, FIR, or both together so you have maximum flexibility. (We seem to sweat best using both). Our unit is made from made from untreated and unfinished poplar wood and glass. It's put together with screws so there is no glue whatsoever. It comes in modular pieces, so pretty easy to set up. At the US Autism conference in Park City last week, Heavenly Heat had a FIR-only unit on display. I watched them set it up in just a few minutes, the poplar wood panels just clipped together. I don't have any experience with bass wood, but talked to Dr. DiMio (or DeMio) at the US Autism conference last weekend and he mentioned that some of his patients were have problems and reacting to bass wood saunas. Sorry, I didn't get any more information than that. Dr. Klinghardt was also recommending Heavenly Heat saunas. Guest guest
I have had a Heavenly Heat sauna for 5 years and really like it. It is the only one I know of that is made of non-toxic materials (glass, stainless steel and wood). It's construction quality is first rate. I just (see, it's the time of month ... can't rememeber a certain word .. so frustrating ... there it is ) ... joined (so simple) GOLD's Gym .. they have a sauna ... is this what you are talking about? LCL ------------ -- Original message ------------ -- From: Kenda Skaggs <lovesgoldens@ gmail.com> Hi Nan, I'm glad you're feeling so much better!! My fibro has been completely gonefor over 10 years. I strongly believe diet is the key, as well as constantdetoxing. I take detox supplements daily and use a far infrared sauna andfoot bath. I always believed my fibro was toxin related but now I'm notsure because I know my candida was out of control for quite a while.
