Routinely do it for the patients whose shirts I take off. From the patient

care stand point: it makes the females feel better that they have something

on besides a sheet. And what is good for the gander is good for the goose

(after all, some men are sensitive about being seen bare-chested by women

half their age). From my stand point: I like it because it keeps the nurse

from being able to gripe about " D**ned Paramedics leaving naked patients

around " .

Now, if I am running a trauma or code, they go in bare chested, and anybody

who wants to complain can address their comments to the closest brick wall.
