Guest guest
I got sick before Thanksgiving briefly with a respiratory problem. After a week of that it turned into a nauseas/diarrhea problem. It has not gone away but gotten worse. I had blood tests done about three weeks ago. I did have a minor infection in the ears and swollen lymph glands. Every day at different times I get nauseas. Some days I have diarrhea and some not. The last week has gotten much worse. I am 5' 6 " and forever have weighed 125 lbs. I have lost seven pounds in the last ten days. I keep having chronic diarrhea, nauseas and sometimes cramping. Yesterday was the worse day ever. I made the mistake of trying to go to town for my daughter. We live 100 miles from town. After I ate lunch of just a vegetable salad at Pizza Hut (I knew I couldn't handle pizza) I started feeling bad. Then later I had a craving for a Burger King milkshake. Big mistake. I went down hill fast. I got really sick feeling and terrible cramps. The drive home was awful. When I got home I had explosive diarrhea all night with blood in my stool each time. Naturally I'm concerned. I looked up the various bowel illnesses. Today I am trying not to eat at all and cleanse out this mess. It's 2:30 and I'm getting a headache so I broke down and ate a banana and some chicken broth. I've also drank ginger ale all day per a pharmacist suggestion. Today I can't seem to have any bowel movement to get a sample for the doctor. It all came out of me yesterday. I find it ironic that I may need this diet as much as Kenzie. So Carol or any of the rest of you adults on this, do you have any idea what I'm suffering from? Of course I'll go back to the doctor but like I said I can't get a stool sample, probably until I eat. Thanks for letting me share this graphic story. Any help would be appreciated. By the way, I'm extremely weak today and am having a hard time sitting at the computer.
