Guest guest
Joyce: I don't believe I would tell her at all; if she understands, it will make her more aggitated and anxious. If she doesn't understand or can't remember, it wouldn't make any difference in telling her. When I told my husband his sister had died, he just said: " Oh, " and immediately forgot it. She was probably the sister he was closest to. I hope your BIL's tests show him okay. Stress can really do bad things to them. The other June. Subject: Joyce's Husband Clyde To: LBDcaregivers Date: Thursday, September 10, 2009, 3:10 PM Dear friends. I have a HUGE prayer request for my sister Joyce's husband, Clyde. He called me today around noon and said he was having chest pains. He has had a stint put in before and he was very concerned. My husband went to his house (about 30 minutes from our house) and took him to the ER. My husband just called and said he had stableized and his BP has remained pretty good. They took several tests and we won't know anything for another hour. Please pray that Clyde will be OK. He has really been under a lot of strees since Joyce got sick and he has lost a lot of weight, doesn't eat right. I will let you know how everything is when I know. Of course, Joyce knows none of this. I will see her this evening and will do whatever the doctor tells me to do about telling hwr, if Clyde is hospitalized. Love to all, June Keeble

Guest guest
June, I have just gotten on here, and see that Clyde is in trouble. I ran through all the mail to see if you have told us how he is doing, and didn't see an update. As you can see he has a lot of support on here, and I am sure others that are not writing are supporting him also. You also, have my support. It is very sweet of you to care for Joyce and Clyde. May it all settle down, and he is on the mend soon. I am so sorry for both of them. If it were me, I wouldn't tell Joyce about Clyde. I told Don about his ex-wife dying, and he cried for a bit. Another day he wanted to see all the places where he had lived, and then I realized it was his homes with her. He didn't say much as he was hiding his pain, and I could see it. Later, he had forgotten all about her. One day, Months later, he asked, " I wonder how is doing? " I told him she is fine. I haven't heard anymore about her. We had always been very close, and talked about everything openly. It took me a while to realize he couldn't handle this kind of thing anymore. Please keep us posted.
