Guest guest Posted December 17, 2002 Report Share Posted December 17, 2002 Hi all..... Just wanted to jump in to let you in on what is new with Ty...... He had his Remicade yesterday...as you all know this is a 24 hour deal for us.....but the main thing is he got thru it....no problems....and is gone early this am for colllege exams....poor guy....this is his very long day....won't be done until 10 pm ....but tomorrow his is off so can rest...and study some more for Thur exams.... Our refrigerator decided to stop working on Sunday...so spend the day finding a new one that would be delivered quickly...lol...right.....one place would deliver on mon....but of course that was not going to work since we were gone at 5am...until this am....and of course they are not in the area today....so it is coming tomorrow...so all our food is in coolers all around the kitchen and frozen stuff in 2 of my neighbors freezer....what timing huh....But hopefully it will get here tomorrow and all will be better..... Tylers labs are about the same...which means almost everything is off...but we are used to that....but his playlets seem to love to continue the down slide....his sed rate higher than usual....but not terrible...and his Glucose is getting higher....has been for months at the highest of the normal rates....but now the last couple of months is getting higher and higher ....his lab says normal is 75-110....last month is was 127...this month it is 162...I am not sure how worried I should be about this....you know moms....love to worry.... when I got the copies of his labs yesterday his doctor was in doing procedures and then he was moved to the GI floor and was not able to get him....it was late at that point...he was probably gone....so have emailed him.... last thing.... Ty has been playing Santa where he works....I have pictures of this...will try to send them later tonight.... He had kids from the boys and girls town....He said it was tough...because they asked for "LOVE from their parents...." "Grandma to live another yr..."...etc....not what he expected....but he loved talking to the kids.... I will send 2 pictures...one of Ty as Santa...and one with his girlfriend on Santas (his) lap....lol.... hopefully I will get to some of the over 300 emails.....well I am going to give it a try anyways.... take care...
