-- Happy New Year from Little Rock, AR

Hello All,

I just wanted to wish all of you a very Happy New Year. Gerry (my Hubby) and I spent the evening at home, enjoying the warmth of the fire in the fireplace and watching "Cirque Du Soleil" on the TV. I fell asleep around 11pm and just now woke up.....boy....I sure can tell the years on me!!!

We will be having our "Traditional New Year's Day" dinner listed below. I have listed the reasons for the type of food as my Momma always told me.

Black-eyed Peas and Rice (AKA--Hoppin' )...This is for Good Luck throughout the year.

Roast Beef (Any type of meat dish is fine)....This is for Health and Well-being throughout the year.

Green Beans (Any type of green veggie dish)...This is for money or wealth....My Momma always preferred to say "wealth" to be in your heart and soul to help those in need and yourself through the good and bad times throughout the year.

Desert Dish (We are having a "special" cake)...This is for love and kindness to fill your heart throughout the year.

May this year be good to all of you and always remember "when you get the choice to sit it out or dance....I hope you dance...I hope you dance."

Hugs and Friendship,

Gerry & Cheryl Worden

Little Rock, AR
