Guest guest
WOW you just described my son. He has been on the diet for 1 1/2weeks (couple of infractions at first, unbelievable how he is craving food). Makes me feel like it is definetly a dye off now hearing your son is going through the same thing. The thing that concerns me the most is the constipation. Is this a normal reaction for some kids and does it subside? The other reaction he is having is he is VERY irritable. Can't wait till these reactions pass... Guest guest
Well, I'm excited!!!!! We haven't been able to start the diet yet, waiting on my youghurt maker, should be here next week. If you're getting that type of die off, I can't wait to see what my kid puts out!!!! At least I know she'll eat on this diet, she didn't eat for 4 days when we went gf/cf, I thought we were going to be in trouble but she perked up one am and decided to eat!!!! Since then tho she's been geeding the gut bugs, so our die off will hopefully be a whopper!!!! Karyn Re: dye off effects WOW you just described my son. Guest guest
Welcome nne, With lethargyappetite change, and the complexion worsening it certainly sounds as if it could be die-off. I had a huge change in my complexion. It was terrible for a little while and then it cleared amazingly - like when I was kid. Stools getting worse. Can you tell us what he is eating, Did you start with the intro diet? Is he on any supplements, meds etc.?
