Mine was extremely enlarged, coming in at just under 8 lbs. Of course I was tx'd before the liver became completely cirrhotic so am not sure if a " swollen " liver is abnormal for most transplantees. To my knowledge my spleen was not enlarged, but never asked and it was not mentioned by my drs. As for back pain, the last two months I consistently had dull aches in my mid-lower back on my right side. I had dull pain from the sternum (RUQ) all the way around to my spine.
