Guest guest
Hi all, hope you're doing well today I've been having a lot of trouble sleeping this last week, and it's getting worse. I'm sure it's the recent reintroduction of prednisolone that's doing it, along with a few other side affects well discussed in an earlier thread(for me, hunger, stomach ache, moodiness and tearfulness/being upset a lot). I wonder how any of you have coped with insomnia in particular, as I find that when you have iga anyway, and the malaise that goes with it and heavy proteinuria, and mood swings, you don't need to be lying in bed each and every night wide awake until 6-7 am, nodding off for an hour and trying to get up after...kinda wears you down after a few nights! Any advice or tips for getting a good nights sleep would be great...I've tried the obvious ones....no stimulant drinks later in the day, hot milk, reading, etc, but I feel quite shattered and still can't nod off. Has anybody used sleeping pills, and do they work? Do they know of there interaction with our medicines, or other side effects? Just trying to find out some facts. Thanks in advance, (Sleepless in Cambridge, UK...!)
