Guest guest
Thanks Carol, Sorry about not looking on the search feature. I do understand that it's legal and had read Elaine's post regarding why, but I was just wondering how people use it, if much at all. Your comment about being hesitant to use that much promted my question. Do you use it much, and if so in what capacity. Thanks again! Guest guest
I don't know about others but I use the search engine on Elaine's site all the time. It's very helpful! And yes I read all that you just posted when Elaine was still on the listserve with us...which led me to the conclusion that it was okay to use the glycerin. Guest guest
Hi Carol and all, Here is a quote from Elaine regarding glycerin. " I doubt if small amounts in flavor would be worrisone. When I read it was being used as a syrup, I became concerned. " So using glycerin as in the amounts in some vanilla extracts are okay as long as you are not chug-a-luggin it, but using glycerin as a sweetener in a syrup is out. Although this doesn't tell you exactly how much/ day, I hope it helps. Sheila, SCD 35 mos UC 20 yrs mom of SCD 20 mos >>to ask why mor earen' t using the search feature on her web site?
