Guest guest
Sandy, What you are feeling is not your thyroid. You can not palpate your thyroid and feel it racing. Rogene's advice to breath deeply is really good advice. If you take deep breaths, deep into your abdomen and let it out very slowly, this should help your panic attacks. Kenda > This happens a lot and I cannot control it > I have been this way since explant > > Let me put it differently to you: > My thyroid feels like it is palpatating > really fast and that's when I feel like > I am going to have a panic attack again > and I try to breath easy but my thyroid > continues racing really fast > > Ever since explant > Most of the time my thyroid feels like it is > racing really fast even without the feeling > of another panic attack coming on > > So far three panic attacks > One panic attack landed me in the hospital > fighting for my life / so this is scary for me > > It's the severe pain that my body's in everyday > since explant, Its like my body is in a trumatized state > This pain/agony is a slow torture > > My body blew up after explant I have extreme > pain in my legs, knees, and lower back since explant > I have almost lost all my strength I am so very weak > > I wonder what I could take to try and get > this swelling down in my body > > I look like the New Years Blimp > and it's not even Christmas > > Rogene I will get the makers diet book > as soon as I can... > Sandy~
Guest guest
Back in 2003 when we were first trying to get pregnant (with no luck) I was referred by a friend to a Bio-Energetic Practitioner. She hooked me up to a machine (I believe a biofeedback machine) it told her the different parts of my systems that were unbalanced. It is so strange that you mentioned yeast. I can't remember then name of the mediation she recommended off the top of my head (it is something found in yogurt) but she told me that I needed to take those pill. Can I find these books at & Noble? Thank you!!! > > Someone here said that taking Oil of Oregano helped with their costochondritis. > > Was it Lynda? > > You haven't had time yet . . . but do learn everything you can about systemic fungal/yeast/Candida problems. . . Most of the implant women have major fungal issues that will be helped by following a very healthy diet. . See " The Yeast Connection " and " The Maker's Diet " . > > Soaking in a tub of hot water with 2-4 cups (depending on the size of the tub) of Epsom salts can help with muscle pain. > > Hugs, > > Rogene >
Guest guest
Dearest Rogene: I am so thankful for all of the good information that you post every day. My eyes are bothering me so much, because they are jumping internally. Do any of you have this symptom, because it is frightening me? Could it be MS, or is my thyroid causing this? Sending love and hope to all..............Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Re: Rogene Acidopholis is probably what she recommended. . . Yogurt is great food for us . . There are also some great smoothies enriched with similar microganisms available at health food stores. Kefir is good too! . . . You can make your own there. Better yet is Garden of Life's Fungal Defense (one bottle) followed by Primal Defense indefinitely. If you suspect you are hypersensitive to silicone, get the powdered kind. You'll find them (and the Maker's Diet) on www.appleadayandbeyond.com . . .lood at the website, then PHONE in your order for the best prices. . . You can find the books (for less) on Amazon.com. and Noble may not have "The Yeast Connection", but they'll have a related book that will be just as informative. Keep in mind that sugar and refined grains (whole grains are OK) feed yeast. Especially sugar. . . The closer you follow a sugar free diet, the better you will do. Avoid artificial sweetners (except Stevia) too. Rogene
Guest guest
Lynda, LOL I tell my doctor what to do..... He he I ask you all and then tell them pretty much, they are clueless. I was to scared not to take an antibiotic, since it started in my ears, then throat, then sinus and then went to the lungs...... I got scared so ask for an antibiotic.... Would love to hear comments on this, I figured it might kill all my good stuff in my body. I don't have much good bacteria, with implants I was on so much antibiotics I think it killed all the good stuff and non of the bad, since I didn't have a pray with mold issues and bio toxins disease. Maybe I should stop taking it, I am scared of my lungs more than anything... I don't want to let it go and end up in hospital, the ones in my area are such a joke, they won't listen to nothing but what they think is correct, we are all stupid here, did you know that? I pray this goes away I can't go to the hospital, I fear I may choke somebody when they act as though I am crazy, again. Question: Should I stop the antibiotic and get an anti fungal? I am going to call Dr. Kolb on Monday... I am to scared to stop antibiotic with this lung filling up with gunk? I do eat garlic and plain yogart and do the diet.... Guest guest
Some of the doctors (who are wising up around here) are telling people to start eating yogurt, etc. as soon as they put them on antibiotics. I repeat myself (again) :-). . . Fresh, crushed garlic is great as an antibiotic and antifungal! Rogene
Guest guest
You can buy lamisil cream at walmart. They keep it with the stuff for athlete's foot, I think. Guest guest
Diflucan is a prescription only. Some may get it from Mexico. Guest guest
Apparently some use it that way. I am sure it absorbs through the skin on ones feet. Guest guest
, Regardless of whether you're taking an antibiotic, taking probiotics and eating probiotic foods should benefit you. Until you're feeling well, consider probiotics part of your lifestyle. It takes time for the probiotics to colonize so they can survive on their own - even following the best diet. Guest guest
I hear there is a lot of flu and pneumonia going around . . . Do whatever you need to do to get well. . . including antibiotics. One of our silent sisters told me that everyone coming to the emergency room in their area is getting a chest x-ray, regardless of the reason they came in. Some of the bugs out there are nasty! Stay on top of whatever it is. With my last cold, I used a Vicks vaporizor . .. It helped a lot. Rogene

Guest guest
Lynn, I use fresh garlic because the active ingredient is created when the clove is crushed. . . By the time garlic is processed into capsule form, most of the active ingredient is lost. If one can't stomach fresh garlic, capsules are a decidedly poorer choice. . . but better than nothing. I put it on a piece of meat, on a salad, in a sandwich. . . anything to temper the taste a bit,.Patty cuts the cloves in pieces, chomps them quickly, then swallows! . . (She's tough! :-)) The Lamisil I use comes in ointment form. . . . I wonder how the pill form would work for systemic fungal issues? As far as I know Diflucan is prescription only. I'd check the source if they say it's available without prescription. The issue with prescription antifungals is that they can kill off fungus so fast that the liver can't handle the toxic die-off. . . Patients can get in trouble if the don't have a doctor working with them. .. Regardless, drink a lot of water when taking any kind of antifungal med or supplement to help flush the die-off. Guest guest
, I am sorry you are so sick right now. Hang in there. I think the biggest surprise for me is that I have not been " sick " . Both my daughter and husbands have had really bad colds and for the first time in years...I did not catch them. While I don't understand this, I am certainly not complaining about it. I was sick every month with " something " as long as I had the implants in. LOL I am trying to determine " exactly what " is causing my other symptons. The last few days, I have been taking a Zyrtec and putting oil and creme lotion on my arms (am using something called Choice for diabetics but I am not diabetic). My arms feel almost " smooth " which is unheard of....as they have been very bumpy and very dry. I am reacting " allergically " to something but I do not know what. I live in the very moist, humid Southeast and am wondering about mold, mildew....etc. And I still get very tired....about 3:00 in the afternoon. Have an appointment with an endocrinologist. I am also still have bladder, incontinence issues................ and water retention issues If I could solve " these things " I will be good to go. > > Rogene, > > I eat garlic, nothing is working, my Man got sick and gave me this... Guest guest
, I never catch anything. Flus, colds, etc. tear through our house and I never get them. I believe it is because my body is in such a heightened immune response state (from the implants) that it kicks down whatever virus tries to attack it before it even has a chance. But having one's body constantly poised in defense mode is hard on the body. Bindi Re: Rogene ,I am sorry you are so sick right now. Guest guest
Bindi, I noticed the same thing, and I mentioned it to my rheumatologist (who was heavily involved in the Dow trials - on the side of implanted women) and she said funny I should mention that. She said that there is research underway (regarding people with Lyme) because it does appear that people whose immune systems are in high gear never catch a cold. I was actually encouraged recently because I caught the flu and I took that as a sign that my immune system is calming down. Unfortunately right after I got over the flu my symptoms all flared up, but that was for about a week and it seems to be improving now. Guest guest
I would love to chime in, I was talking with one of the other ladies the other day and it is weird I have all this lung and pneumonia, and inflammation in the chest wall, severe obstructive airway disease. And up until the last few months all my stuff was fibro and neurological. I have definately had some kind of shift in my auto immune. Before this I didn't catch anything either. never got the colds or flu for years. Now that it has gotten in there, I have the shingles, walking pneumonia and the mucous is everywhere and infection. It is making me very weak and taking its toll, I wonder if this is a progression this disease takes, I had my implants 20 years, I didn't have all the detox stuff and just had the last capsule rmoved 6 months ago, but I am sicker than ever. One of the reasons I reacted to the story now it may be pneumonia I am staring to worry she got sick supposedly the year before me. Guest guest
-Terri, I can tell you my disease has taken the same course. It is very confusing. It seems to move around, and just when you get a handle on one thing another comes up. My most recent progression has been more difficulty breathing. Like you, it does not seem like even in the midst of this I have really been sick with colds flu etc.. which is weird huh? I don't have the answer, but I am in the same boat. I am almost 2 months explant, and I don't have any good days really like I used to in between bad days, I have days that I feel like death and days I can get by. It can all be depressing when you just want to get better. I look around and everyone seems so normal, I can't even work. I am on detox, it is just soooo slow.
