I can picture it so easily and have done the same. I am used to seeing

chickens

when they cackle around the hen house and the rooster chasing them.

That is how I feel when I have to do the " chicken " dance as I call it.

The bending forward, backward, side to side, trying to get where I need

to go.

So from now on, we do the chicken walk. I have even done the horse

drag.

You know those pictures where you see horses drag the plow behind them.

I feel like that when I walk to far out and can't get back.

The there is the pogo walk, the walk where you don't want to put to much

pressure on the leg that hurts so you are pogoing up and down one side

higher than the other. Anyone else compensate with some great walk

steps ? Bennie

Hi guys,

Until a few weeks ago, I used to walk like Igor.  I was trying to get away from

my sore left hip, so I would lean over my cane on my right side.  I'd step

forward with my right leg, move the cane forward, and drag my left leg along.

I've posted recently about PT helping finally so I can walk straighter.  On bad

days, I still drag my sore leg along, but it's not quite as pronounced as

before!
