OLA's Understanding NCI Spring Teleconference Series

National Cancer Institute

NCI's Office of Liaison Activities (OLA) continues its " Understanding NCI "

teleconference series with the topic " How the Patient Navigator Program

Helps Cancer Patients " on Wednesday, March 7 from 1:00-2:00 p.m., EST.

Featured speakers are Dr. Roland , Program Director of the Patient

Navigator Research Program at NCI's Center to Reduce Cancer Health

Disparities; Dr. Beth Calhoun, Co-Principal Investigator at the Patient

Navigator Research Program in Chicago; and advocate Phyllis Ferguson-Collum,

Patient Navigation Services Social Worker for the American Cancer Society.

The Teleconference can be accessed toll free within the U.S. at

1-; the passcode is PNP. Toll-free playback will be available

through April 7 at 1-.
