Guest guest
I warm up strawberries or blueberries with honey. I sometimes add orange juice to honey. I also use Frontier vanilla which contains glycerine but is alcohol free. You know I prefer this to the taste of conventional illegal pancake syrups we used to use. Carol F. You don't use it all at once Carol! This recipe lasts for over 2 weeks using it every day. I put about 1-2 tablespoons on my dd's pancakes in the am. The recipe posted on pecanbread is wrong, it states to use 1/2 cup water when it should read 1 1/2 cups water. This dilutes the glycerin quite a bit. The recipe makes 2 full cups!
