Guest guest
Thanks Nan. I will leave it up to Dr. Huang and will definitely address these issues. I guess it all depends on how things look when she gets in there. I appreciate you writing. nnnttwilliams <nnnttwilliams@...> wrote: -, I don't know much about this but the explanting surgeon I used does this a lot. His nurse had it done, she said it looks very good. I did not have it done, but had an internal lift. I have just heard that transfers may not last, even my internal lift has changed its look. I know that the dr you are using is well trusted right. I think mine would not do it because he did not want to put me through more being so sick. You are in my thoughts, I know this is a big thing, and just remember there are so many others that have traveled this road too, that made me feel better when I was in the OR getting the explant. Guest guest
Lynda, I am starting to get a bit stressed right now. I'm trying to hold it together but this is scary. I am two weeks until explant and I know I have to get them out and I am okay with that but I saw what happened with Gretchen and I'm getting scared. I am barely functioning right now and it is hard to make decisions. I can't even seem to make a list for things I need to do before explant and what I need to bring and all that. Guest guest
: Don't worry about the fat transfer procedure--it's a simple injection of fat--nothing like a tram flap. You'll be in good hands with Dr. Huang. Good luck with your surgery. Let us know how it goes. KateRogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: . .. Guest guest
--, the last weeks were the worst! I felt like I was living every moment waiting for the surgery. And I felt so awful that it really was not a fun time. The relief to have them out is worth it! I don't think you will have the reaction you wrote about. I am not " worse " for having them out, just left with all the toxins to get out. I am only one week into the detox so I can't say, but I don't have those symptoms. And I am barely functioning. You will make it. Love Nan - In , <waltjenking@...> wrote: > > Lynda, > > I am starting to get a bit stressed right now. I'm trying to hold it together but this is scary. Guest guest
, You can't let the stress get to you, although I know it's easier said than done. It's a bit frightening sometimes to contemplate surgery and what you will be going through. But trust us, there have been many, many women who have been explanted and everything turns out just fine. I have rarely heard of significant complications from explant. I've been involved in the breast implant issue for almost a decade now, and I have only heard of several cases that have been difficult; even those turned out okay in the end. Please stay positive about what you are doing...it's the best thing you can do!
