Thanks to all those who had something positive to say

about the list. Thanks to and Eunice who have

helped me so much to keep the list going!

I'm relatively quiet, and there are some posts that I do delete because I'm

not interested in the topic, however I do enjoy the list - and the diversity

that is on here.

I've learned several things from reading the posts, and would miss the

list...

We all have days (months, years...) when we need to be encouraged.

Although some of us may not say it often, I know I don't - and I should on

all the lists I'm on - Thank you for the time you spend on this list, thank

you to you and all the other people who take the time to monitor it.

<hugs>

Candace (:

---I am a bit nosey so I read everything, at least most of the time I

do! Sometimes I have to go back and read things I missed for lack of

time but I catch most!

Glad you are posting Candace. That is a pretty name. My son's

girlfriend is named Candace.

I agree about needing encouragement, that is something everyone

needs. Can have a downer day but come on in here and we are cheered

up in no time!

, if you stop this list, a lot of people will be mad at you. And you

know you don't want that. LOL.

I know that I try to always post happy, encouraging messages. You may think

I'm happy go-lucky all the time. I do have moments when I get discouraged.

Whenever that happens, I'll read someone's message that is having a hard time

and I'll stop and think " how lucky I am. " I thank God everyday that I am

healthy. I do keep everyone on this list in my prayers.

Let's share our good days and bad days, our concerns, our hopes, our dreams.

Everyone has something to share.

Hi Carol- Thanks for the reassuring words. I hope I recover as fast as you

did. Did you have diabetes at the time? I plan on having both ovaries

removed so I don't have the chance of ovarian cancer. I am still very

anemic. I started on 325 mg's of iron per my dr's orders but am quite tired

and weak. Going up stairs makes me weak in the knees :-)

----------

:

It turned out to be a lot less of a big deal than I thought. I had

been told that the recovery period was 4-6 weeks. I was back at work,

on a part time basis, in 2 weeks + 1 day. My boss nearly fainted when

he saw me! I realize that everyone recovers at different rates but

that was my experience.

My problem was a huge cyst that had attached itself to my right

ovary. The surgical procedure was more straightforward to remove

everything (except my left ovary, which is still there). I didn't

object because, at age 42 (at the time), we were not planning on

starting a family.

Good luck.
