Guest guest
My pain has increased quite a bit recently. I had blood tests to rule out River Virus plus to check my thyroid as my goiter is getting bigger. Fiber symptoms are similar to Ross river virus and Thyroid disease. Any way the results are all clear. My Doctor says it is a spike and put me on steroids for a couple of weeks to settle the pain down. My Doctor says all the pain signals are getting mixed up in the central nervous system which can,t turn off the pain. I am a bit confused to why it can't be turned off. Guest guest
Dr Teitelbaum said to me (years ago) that a fibromyalgia sufferer can have a thyroid problem, but still show up in the average range for 'normal'. there does not appear to be knowledge of this where I live. Of course we all know that our bodies are not functioning normally and we can appear to be in the 'normal' range for lots of things. Averages are helpful but can be dangerous because of what they are.  Kind regards, Siobhán ________________________________ To: fibromyalgiacured Sent: Thu, 2 December, 2010 12:15:12 Subject: Spike in pain  My pain has increased quite a bit recently.
