OK, I did it, first day no carbs or very few I made it through the day and even

used olive oil. And coffee cake was staring at me from the kitchen counter and I

didn't get any.

Congratulations, ,

I know it is terribly hard to get the sugar/flour carb monkey off your back. It

is a terrible addiction that many are not aware of. When I finally got

'cleaned', I felt a hundred percent better. The way I describe it is: my body

feels clean...so clean, I seem to be looking through crystal glass rather than

the brain fogginess, and eyesight blurr.

I hope you can steadily take the first steps to a better way of living and

feeling. You will see what we mean in a matter of a couple of weeks. Don't give

up.

Seeing it clearly,

I did atkins before but was not as faithful as I am right now. I went out and

got some books from my mom. she has lost 50 plus pounds on it. I know I don't

have a choice in the matter any more my life depends on it. Just trying to get

past the constipation part and the craving part right now. I know if I get some

of this weight of I will start to feel better and eating better will always help

me. The problem was before I had gerd " acid reflux " and vegetables and fruits

and meats just gave me so much gas and up set my stomach it was easier to eat

the pasta, and that is were the weight came on. I had surgery to fix that and

now can eat healthier foods so I don't have any more excuses. Now I just need

the will power and energy. I just came back from the doctor this week and he

said that I have mono and he also wants to schedule me for a colonoscopy. So

once I get my strength back from the virus and hopefully the won't find any

thing they can't fix I should be on the right track.
