Chicken Pox Vaccine

Thank you so much Suz and Ralph for your advice about

the Chicken Pox vaccine decision. We had already

decided we weren't going to give it to him. I went

with my gut instinct which was telling me not to do

it. We will reconsider this decision after he is off

prendisone which will hopefully be this fall. I will

defininetly be asking/telling his specialist about the

Zovirax that was mentioned. That drug was not

mentioned to me at all when we were discussing the

consequences of catching the Pox from his best

buddy. went back to school this past Tues. He

was very happy to be back. He has been a bear today.

The 3 days back wore him out! It is such a source of

comfort to know that I have a wonderful group to go to

for advice. Thank you and Suz, your english was

perfect!

Welcome to Pam! My 4 year old son was diagnosed

with DM Jan '99. His CPK has been " normal " for almost

12 months now. He is doing very well and we are

holding our breath that he stays in the normal range.
