My son is 18 years old and his nephrologist thinks he has IGA, although my son has not had a kidney biopsy yet. This week his blood pressure was elevated during his annual check up and I took it at home again (I'm a nurse too)and again it was too high. I am fearful of the implications of this not being treated soon. He wants to become a police officer and he is afraid this may prevent him from passing physicals that will allow him to become a police officer. If anyone has any good advice, please reply.
