Guest guest
>> My daughter went the entire school year with an FM system that didn't work and no one figured this out until school was done. The device was not checked by an audiologist because her school does not have one on staff. << No, no, no, no, no!!!! (In case you can't tell, it really ruffles my feathers when schools do this!) ASHA Guidelines state that FM systems should be chosen and adjusted by an Audiologist. Download this file, read it, and print it out. http://www.asha.org/references/ii107.pdf (Adobe Acrobat Reader Required) If you can't read this file on your computer, and want a copy of it, send me a self addressed stamped envelope and a little note telling me you want the ASHA file on prescribing FM systems and I'll print it out for you: Kay Listen-Up! 9331 Braun Point San , TX 78250 Kay
