Guest guest
What can I give them for sore throats, coughs, and fever? I really don't want to give them something illegal, which would probably make everything worse. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Guest guest
I put on Sambucol when everyone here had a nasty virus.. Dh developed pneumonia and one son barely escaped it. The Sambucol seemed to protect her and all she got was a very runny nose. :-) You can use it after the fact to help cut down the number of days you are sick. There is a sugar free version but it does contain sorbitol. The whole thing is illigal I am sure... But my goal was to avoid the heavy hitting drugs that no doubt would have followed!! You have to pick your battles. Carol in IL ps127@... Mom to 7 blessings including , 3 with DS (SCD8 weeks ) and Grandma to Micah and Jonah. " Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain. Both have weak immune systems and I figured that 5 days of a medication with illegals in it was worth the risk of them ending up in the hospital with pneumonia being pumped full of a ton of antibiotics. Each parent has to make their own choice when it comes to illnesses. Even Elaine has said that medical necessity overrides having to be 100% compliant. I also gave them both Sambucol.
