Guest guest
Kathy, I have heard of this illness, but I can't remember where. What happens when you Google it? I would try that along with asking on the support groups. I am very sorry that he is going through all that and I was going to suggest an improved diet, but you are all ready doing that. Does he work and is he under a lot of stress as stress can really aggravate my pain levels? Anyway, I hope someone has the information that you need. Gentle Hugs for you and your husband, Penny >Kathy A wrote: > I haven't written for awhile, but I do want to ask a question in >regard to my poor hubby. He is suffering desperately with polymyalgia rheumatica. It's a rare disease, an auto-immune disease, that seems a bit like a cross between fibro and rheumatoid arthritis. His pain is excruciating. He is also extremely weak. He's a builder and has not been able to work hardly at all for the past four months. This is his second bout of this disease - he had it originally in 2003 and it went into remission for four years. Now it's back only worse than before.
