Can someone explain why canned pumpkin is not legal? What I read on

the can is the only ingredient is pumpkin, nothing else.

Also why is chocolate not legal? (big bummer for me!)

In regards to cooking beans....the legal list for beans says to cook

them in accordance to the BTVC book. However I cannot find any

specific instructions on cooking beans with the exception of 1

recipe for white navy beans. The directions are to soak overnight

and drain and rinse, before cooking. This is what I have always done

anyway. We are a spanish family and rice and beans were always a

main dish (although now it will have to be without the rice).

Just want to make sure how to cook our black beans.

Also I cannot find grapeseed caps without maltodextrin... can

someone tell me where to find a legal one?

thank you verry much
