Guest guest
I too had positive margins after RP in 1998. I had 3+3 T2C Pca and to date my PSA results have been undetectable. You probably have some small minute cells left in the prostatic bed. If my PSA does ever rise I can have EBRT to the prostatic bed. I have a friend who had similar positive margins but with a Gleason 4+3 and he had EBRT to the prostatic bed 5 years ago and to date he is fine. He had 3D conformal EBRT which gave him very few problems, if any. Concentrate on getting back to normal after your RP and try and not worry too much about your positive margins. You have good stats. You will be fine I am sure.

I had robotic RP last September with positive margins. Gleason score same as yours. Two PSA tests later and I'm fine. I know two data points don't make a trend but I'm not worrying about it. If PSA rises, then I'll research it but until then, I'm not going to think about what if...
