Those numbers will come down. Are you getting on the treadmill before or after eating? I have found that exercising before eating doesn't work for me. If I eat more carbs than I should, I have to treadmill at least 10 minutes after eating. Eunice
Guest guest
Hey everyone. I posted about a month ago with blood sugars over 500 consistently. I have been lurking the last few weeks with a lot to say, but no energy or ambition to write. I am getting back on track, Praise God! My fastings are in the low 200s now, and I only go up into the 350 range during the day. I am excersising everyday, burning 300-400 calories on the treadmill every morning. I hate it with a passion, but I also hate being sick....and tired. I have changed my diet somewhat, but there isn't much left to change. I went from puffed wheat in the morning to yogurt. Again, yuk......but it's working. Anyway, I didn't want everyone to think I fell off the face of the earth. I appreciate your queries and supportive emails. Peace my friends,

Guest guest
You may wish to try my mixture for breakfast. Very satisfying and sticks to the ribs longer than most things. 1 T. old fashion oatmeal 1 T. oat bran 1 T. wheat bran 1/2 to 2/3 c. water Microwave until it almost rolls over but not over edge of bowl. 1 T. ground flaxseed Splenda to tase or no sweetner 1 t. ground cinnamon Then in about 30 minutes walk treadmill 2 miles. If you walk after every meal it will help. Walk after each snack. Yeah, I know, walk yourself down but it sure does help bring the BS down. Stick with lean meat size deck cards and green vegetables and you will get your BS down faster. Starches is usually the guilty foods that raise BS so high and harder to walk down. Before long you will have the BS where you want it to be. Congratulations on your accomplishments!! Marie. > Hey everyone. I posted about a month ago with blood sugars over 500 > consistently. Guest guest
Praise God you are doing better, . It's a long, hard change to get those Bg levels down. It's good you have the treadmill for exercise. My prayers will be with you that you do get back that energy. > I am getting back on track, Praise God!
