Guest guest
Yup. Same symptoms. Sent via BlackBerry by AT & T New with ???'s I am in the process of trying to figure out what is going on with me. I'm thinking it is fibromyalgia. It all started with shoulder pain then I have been able to palpate small pea size lumps in both arms and legs. Seems like they are in the muscle. Does anyone else have the same symptom? Thanks! Guest guest
Deb, Please get the pea-sized lumps checked out. I have one in my leg which is a hard, benign lipoma (they are usually soft), but you don't know what they are, and one should never waste time with a lump of any size. Guest guest
Thanks for the quick response. I think I know that is what it is. Dr. ordered MRI of my shoulder which I had done today. I think I will actually feel better just knowing what I am dealing with than wondering what it could be. Thanks, Deb PS. Any suggestions on where to start to get on the way to a recovery? > > Yup. Guest guest
Thanks! We are looking into what they may be. The Dr. said " We will call them fibroma " . Then ordered an MRI of the shoulder. She thought that they would be included in the MRI but the tech that did it said it wasn't mentioned and that he would have a different protocol for looking at soft tissue. I looked up fibroma but don't find much. I do have lipoma also but they don't hurt. These lumps do hurt and they are harder. SO, I guess I wait for the test results. I'm not very good at waiting though Deb > > Deb, > > Please get the pea-sized lumps checked out. Guest guest
The shoulder pain is with movement. I have more achiness in the thighs and right arm. The left arm aches worse. The areas that have lumps are what ache. Most of the lumps are in the left arm. Massaging them gently helps. I have fatigue, chemical sensitivities, and brain fog. Not moving makes me stiff and more painful. Are your cysts painful? Thanks for your help! Guest guest
Aren't they related to myofascial issues? Guest guest
Hi, In fact I do have a few pea lumps under my arms between the shoulder and the elbow. This is interesting that you asked because I saw a doctor some years ago and he said to keep in touch with him if they didn't go away. But I haven't done that so maybe they are a part of the fibromyalgia huh?
Guest guest
Don't have lumps but I do get muscles lumped so to speak and have to have deep massage sessions. Guest guest
Hi Deb, I've gotten what you've described, however, they can be anywhere for me and are mostly in my armpits at times. I've even gotten them removed in the past. I decided to take a different route w/them. It seems that once I've gotten my lymphatic system going, that this usually alleviates my issue w/them, after a week or so. I've used lymphatic drainage homeopathic, grapefruit & lemon essential oils mixed, as well as done some other cleansing around getting my bowels going. It's hard for people to get enough physical activity if they are extremely exhausted all of the time, which is what is needed to keep the lymphatic system going. At least me for it is. I also usually have bad diet stuff going on at the time that these things manifest themselves. Also, holistically, maybe some " emotional stuckness? " JOANNE; isn't it interesting that you would mention food binging,I never realized that that could be a fibromyaglia symptom. At times, this is a severe issue for me w/snacks, not usually with food. It's like a ravenous wolf comes out, but I noticed that when this happens, that once I take the 5htp, it usually stops this food binging. Interesting. > > Deb > > Small lumps are not usually a sign of Fibro, but having said that I get lots of > cysts under my skin. Guest guest
my symptoms are extreme fatigue, brain fog, muscles aches/soreness, shooting nerve pain, bad pms and heavy periods... shoulder pain can be part of it, but you would most likely have muscle pain in many other parts of the body. I get tired and achy just doing mild activities like walking, switching laundry loads, doing dishes... nne > > > I am in the process of trying to figure out what is going on with me. > I'm thinking it is fibromyalgia. Guest guest
Hello Deb, Other than the cysts(this is new information to me), you have the classic symptoms of Fibro. Are you following any particular diet at the moment? > > Deb > > Small lumps are not usually a sign of Fibro, but having said that I > get lots of > cysts under my skin.
